Where is the best place to find a diamond wedding band that can be re-sized to fit larger fingers?
My engagement ring is princess cut, total of 7 diamonds...so I need my band to have princess cut (square) as well. But the problem is that I need it to be able to be re-sized to an 11 or 12. Any ideas?
Check with a couple of local jewlers, shop around and get some info before you commit, they will talk to you and help you out, plus ALLWAYS negotiate the price most will move, just tell them that "that one is the one I really want but it is a bit higher than I can do now and will have to wait", it works, try it xoffice.com
try whiteflash.com if you are shopping for wedding bands
Unless it's sizeable, you're going to have to special order it that small... most stores (including large chain stores) don't stock anything under a 5
Take ring to jeweler. Browse online. It might have to be custom made, but it may be that there is something already out there that might look good. She can try stuff on
How much would you buy or do you think this ring could be sold for?
It is a 3 carat diamond ring
Center stone is one carat
rounds in center ring total one carat
each band is half carat
diamonds are set in white gold
Ring was recently re-dipped, not worn since dipping, ring is from Helzberg diamonds, and warranty is uptodate along with 6 month inspections up to date as well.
Also, all three bands are saudered together and the ring is size 7 1/4. Read More......

Best/ strongest chain to wear a mans wedding band on?
My father recently passed away, and I have his wedding band and would like to wear it on a chain, it's white gold and I would like to know what is the strongest chain I could put it on so I do not loose it. It is quite a heavy ring.
Thanks in advance!
Kim
If I were you I would take it to a jewler and let him/her help you out. Show them the ring and I am sure they can test it out on several different types of chains. I think it is very sweet what you are doing!
A friend of mine wears a ring on a chain around her neck and the ring is actually fastened to the chain. You can't tell just by looking at it though. She says the jeweler recommended it so the ring doesn't get scratched up as much.
I'd recommend speaking with a jeweler. They can give you the best options.

I suggest a white gold necklace, but make sure you get one that is a bit thicker to avoid breakage. Anything like stainless steel or platinum will be too hard and may ware the ring down.

My husband chose to wear his ring on a chain while working. Had several discussions with my jewler about the most appropriate chain to get.

Whats your opinion of having a stainless steel for a mans wedding band?
I am leaning on getting my soon to be husband stainless steel or white gold. White gold does not have the design i like no matter where i look. And it is more expensive and doesnt look as shiny as the stainless steel. But i feel like it might sound like its cheap if someone asked him what his ring was made out of? Opinions please!
Remember that no matter what the ring is made of, it's the thought that counts! A simple plain band can be engraved on the inside, such as your wedding date or "your song" 's title or the place you met. Only the significance of the ring is important. Not the style, design, maker. metal, or price. It's the thought that counts. You can always get him a new ring in 5, 10, 15, 20, 25,... years as an anniversary gift or if you renew your vows. Hope I have helped you.:) congratulations on your engagement! :D
Because my hands are into all kinds of stuff at home (gardening, cooking, baking, cleaning, painting, refinishing cabinets, furniture, etc) there's no way I would wear either my original band, a plain yellow gold one, or the pretty fancy ones my husband has given me ( yellow gold & diamonds, and the other is white gold, peridots, and white sapphires)
So I wear a stainless steel one...it has been chemically 'sandblasted' so the texture resembles sun sparkling on silver sand.
It wears like heck and sometimes I forget and go out in it.
People think it's an expensive platinum band.
Why should I burst their bubble. lol.
I've seen men's stainless wedding bands...they are beautiful and very masculine.
..and if some smart jeweler ever starts putting diamonds in stainless steel settings, I'll be the first to buy one.
Good Luck.
